I was born in Manizales in 1987, right in the middle of the coffee core region in Colombia. Since I was a child I experienced a deep connection with nature. With my family, we hiked through the Andes mountain chains, camping, and fishing in remotes areas. Being in the wild became my passion, and that’s what I try to share through my camera. My involvement in several projects with social and environmental approaches have helped me develop my career and have deepened my belief in the importance of audiovisual products in promoting the acknowledgment of our rich and biodiverse region.
I’m a cinematographer and photographer with 12 years of experience in the audiovisual industry. My greatest passion is to transmit situations, processes and realities using aesthetic criteria with still and moving images. My main interest is to communicate conservation, social and scientific processes from a close and deep view. I’ve been involved in more than 7 documentaries (social and environmental), 2 feature films, 10 commercial projects, 11 short films. I also directed 82 episodes of the tv show “Ethos”, for 3 years (Interviews with people who have made an impact in Colombian history).
