“YWY” tells of the cultural change within the people of the Asurini, directly located at the Brazilian Xingú. Since Bolsonaro came to power, invasions by loggers and land grabbers have increased on the people’s legally protected territory. In addition, during the shooting of the film team it becomes clear that massive compensation money flows into the region erase what was once untouched and intact.
